Matthew asked:
I’ve just recently found out that I’m going to start having to use a power wheelchair to get around due to worsening Cerebral Palsy and extreme leg fatigue brought on by walking short distances. I was wondering if anyone else that uses a Jazzy Select power wheelchair could give me some tips on how to safely drive it. Thanks a bunch to everyone that answers

I’ve heard there is an extended insurence for motorzed wheelchairs and scooters which is great because repairs to my wheelchair r bankrupting me.I think if the chair coast u over $ 2000.00 then they should have an insurence like on cars n trucks.

Erica T asked:
My friend has a one year old son with downs syndrome, and he’s currently in the hospital with pnumonia, and may need a feeding tube insurted. They live in Georgia, but they’re staying at a hospital in Florida. They’re having a hard time paying for the bills, and food in the hospital, and gas to get back and forth from Georgia to Florida. I was looking for any kind of help with this that they may be able to receive during this hard time. ANY (kind) suggestions welcome. Thank you!
They’re also having trouble with their bills at home because they’re missing work, and because of the long drives to the hospital. I don’t know if there’s any organization that helps with rent/utilities during hospital time… maybe something like that too would also help. Thank you so much!

Flower Girl asked:
I started taking half a pill each day at the end of January. About a week ago I increased the dosage to a full pill. I’m starting to notice a change in my vision, it’s not as clear as normal. I did read that blurred vision is a common side effect but I’m hoping that it’s just temporary.
Has anyone experienced this while taking adipex? If so, did your vision clear up after you stopped?

ladywillowhawk10 asked:
What is the medical/clinical word for someone with an acquired brain injury, that suddenly becomes artistic with art or music? There has been proof that a person with no artistic ability prior the brain injury, who has never played a piano or picked up a paint brush, suddenly is able to write a symphony, or can paint a perfect landscape. I’m looking for the proper medical term. Thank you.

Pleas! I do not want an emotional or political answer, I do not care if you are prolife or proscience.
What I am asking is:
Has there been a cure of a disease in humans?
Has there been a cure of a diesease in animals?
Has there been a treatment of an uncurable disease in humans or animals which gave partial revarsal of a disease state or halted a disease process?
What proof is there that it will or can cure diabetes, parkinsons, demetia, spinal cord injury, or any other illness.
Was ther any chance of Christopher Reeves or Ronald Reagan being alive today had federal fundings een made available for stem cell reaserch?
Do you think, Michael J. Fox or Patti Label will realize cures of their illnesses in thir lifetime with stem cells?
Please Objctive answers only from either side…I do not want emotional, political rants!

Mac OS X comes bundled with a Speech Recognition tool that doesn’t do a lot out of the box, but it’s actually very easy to configure. Here’s an idea of what you can do with it.
