iDolch
iDolch is an electronic flashcard set of pre-primer and primer Dolch Words, the most frequently found words in the books that children read. The Dolch word list is also commonly referred to as sight words since many of these words cannot be “sounded out” phonetically and therefore must be learned by sight recognition. Mastering sight words is important since these are the words that make up the majority of most texts and form the basis for reading fluency and literacy development.
